English as a Foreign Language
CLIC-LEARNING’s Foreign Language Certificate is a Beginner-level credential for individuals interested in learning English as a foreign or second language. The program is designed for all individuals, and can be taken regardless of whether or not you have prior English language knowledge.
The certificate courses take place in-person at CLIC-LEARNING, Baghdad or off-site at our client locations. As part of the certificate curriculum, you will undertake 32 hours of reading, writing, listening and speaking. You’ll also complete quizzes, assignments, exams and presentations, in which you’ll develop substantial English language knowledge.
Community Beginner

Community Pre-Intermediate
CLIC-LEARNING’s Foreign Language Certificate is a Pre-Intermediate -level credential for individuals interested in learning English as a foreign or second language. The program is designed for all individuals, and can be taken after completing Community
Beginner level 2 and or with the instructor’s approval. The certificate courses take place in-person at CLIC-LEARNING, Baghdad or off-site at our client locations.
As part of the certificate curriculum, you will undertake 32 hours of reading, writing, listening and speaking.
You’ll also complete a quizzes, assignments, exams and presentations, in which you’ll develop a substantial English language knowledge.
Community Intermediate
CLIC’s Foreign Language Certificate is an Intermediate-level credential for individuals interested in learning English as a foreign or second language. The program is designed for all individuals, and can be taken after completing Pre-Intermediate level 2 and or with the instructor’s approval. The certificate courses take place in-person at CLIC-Learning, Baghdad or off-site at our client locations.
As part of the certificate curriculum, you will undertake 32 hours of reading, writing, listening and speaking. You’ll also complete a quizzes, assignments, exams and presentations, in which you’ll develop a substantial English language knowledge.
Community Advanced
Upper Intermediate A: (Units- 1-6) Can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics. Obtain technical understanding, functions and independently construct research papers. There is heavy focus on speaking, reading, writing and listening. Through paired and group discussions, independent reading and writing activities, and an integrated writing and presentation project, students develop upper-intermediate-level communication academic skills. Students can parallel studies with IELTS.
Upper Intermediate B: (Units 7-12) This course will emphasize narrative writing, writing with talking and improving style and cohesion. Examining theory of ideology and connecting meaning with ideas. Analyzing different ways to convey clear ideas, strong opinions and positions. Through reading and writing activities, group discussions, and an independent research project, students strengthen conceptions with activities. Students can parallel studies with IELTS.
